THE ROLE OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS IN ADDRESSING EMISSIONS REDUCTION AND THE UNIFYING OPPORTUNITY FOR SPACE TO DRIVE NET ZERO

This presentation will showcase outcomes of the UK Space Agency funded Methane programme, delivered by Satellite Applications Catapult and GHGSat. This programme has allowed UK organisations access to high-resolution methane emissions satellite data from the GHGSat constellation and explored the role of satellite data to support emissions reduction strategies, including the explicit roles of both public and private sectors and the levers they have available to them.
