Allan is a chartered land and hydrographic surveyor (FRICS), with over thirty years’ experience in the geo-spatial industry. He has experience in managing projects in a wide range of geospatial disciplines, including land survey, mobile scanning, earth observation, aerial photography, photogrammetry, and LiDAR. Allan has international collaboration and delivery experience working in twenty countries worldwide. He is the current chair of the UK BSI standards committee on geographic information and contributes to standards development at an international level with ISO and the OGC. He is currently the Data Standards Lead at Ordnance Survey.
