Speaker: Hannah Kemper, Earth Observation Analyst, World Food Programme As part of the United Nations World Food Programmes (WFP) the Asset Impact Monitoring from Space (AIMS) represent a service that demonstrates the operationalization of EO in the humanitarian and SDG2 context is feasible through the provision actionable insights. AIMS utilizes EO for intervention planning, project monitoring, and landscape impact assessments in over 25 countries. This paper demonstrates the application of EO in informing policy decisions, protecting endangered landscapes, and advancing global conservation priorities while proposing a framework for scaling EO-enabled monitoring systems to support sustainable development.
