SEVEN YEARS OF HIGH-RESOLUTION VEGETATION ESSENTIAL CLIMATE VARIABLE MAPS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM

Speaker: Omar Ali Eweys, Southampton University, United Kingdom20 m and 100 m spatial resolution maps of the Leaf Area Index (LAI) and the Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) were generated with associated quality control maps (QC) by LEAF production toolbox over the United Kingdom. The maps are produced every 15 days between April 2018 and December 2024. The algorithm applies the heterogenous 4SAIL2 model, together with a shoot clumping parameterization.
