Martin Smye-Rumsby leads space ISR propositions and campaigns at BAE Systems and currently serves as Chairman of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc). He is passionate about the power of remote sensing to measure the world, and its power to improve life down here on planet Earth.
BAE Systems designs and delivers solutions for civil and commercial space agencies to be used on Earth, in near space, and in deep space. Leveraging its expertise in radio frequency systems, antenna design, synthetic aperture radar processing, radiation-hardened electronics, and mapping software, the company enables its customers to command, control, and communicate with spacecraft while ensuring electronics can withstand the radiation and temperature extremes of deep space.
