Hannes Taubenböck is head of the Geo-Risks and Civil Security Department at the Earth Observation Center of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). He also holds the Chiar of Global Urbanization and Remote Sensing at the Julius Maximilian’s University of Wuerzburg, Wuerzburg in Germany. His research interests include urban remote sensing topics, from the development of algorithms for information extraction to value adding to classification products for findings in urban geography.
